It’s not much to look at , but the first succession planting of the year should still be acknowledged. Two squares of radishes are gone, and two squares of spinach go in their place. I am using Tyee because, even during the summer heat, it is supposed to be favourful, juicy and slow to bolt.
I should have put the spinach seeds in last week as soon as we pulled the radishes, but I wasn’t organized enough to have the seed tin with me. I was distracted by trying to get the Community Garden newsletter finished before the new month began – that’s my excuse anyway.
