It was a perfect day at the garden.  Blue sky, fresh breeze, congenial company. Today’s goal was to till the soil layers and see how the mix turned out. Jim spent twenty minutes rototilling and we now have a friable, soft mix of earth, compost, peat moss and vermiculite.

It looks lovely. Light and fluffy, not a weed to be seen.
I know. That won’t last. But it’s a beautiful sight at the moment.
